Keith Karpinski - Principal
I am celebrating my 9th year as Principal here at Jefferson! My wife Marilyn and I have been married for 31 years and we have two daughters and a dog named Paczki. I graduated from Pennsylvania State University in1989. While there, I earned a degree in Health education and I earned my masters’ degree & Teaching Certificate from University of Detroit/ Mercy. I spent one year (1989) playing professional football with the Detroit Lions but that has become a distant memory along with some aches and pains. I love being the educational leader at Jefferson. I enjoy reading historical fiction novels, hunting, watching Penn State Football, spending time as a family at our cottage near Alpena MI, and being a DAD.
